ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING STUDENT INSURANCE

Poland's Ministry of National Education and Sport  requires from foreign students studying in Poland a valid Medical Insurance Policy. Without one, student has no right to apply for a Temporary Stay Card  /Karta Tymczasowego Pobytu/. Moreover, his/her stay in Poland will be considered illegal and the student will have to leave the country.
There are 3 types of recognized insurance policies:

1. Insurance Policies  issued abroad but valid for Europe/Poland. These MUST be translated into Polish by a sworn-in translator and the document deposited in student's file.
2. Insurance Policies  /blue cards/ issued and valid in all European Union Countries.
3. Polish National Health Fund /NFZ/ Insurance. To apply for one see your administrative tutor .

Students who by the end of November do not meet these requirements will not be issued  Examination Charts.
