The academic year at the Medical University of Łódź is divided into two semesters. The first semester is from the first of October (for most of the courses) until the end of January except for the 4- year MD course of medicine which starts from the begining of September.The second semester starts in the middle of February and ends on the twenty eighth of May. Lectures, seminars and classes are taught in these periods.
